The Children’s Society work with some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the UK, including those facing poverty, neglect, and abuse. Your donations help to provide essential services, support, and advocacy for children who often fall through the cracks of society. As a national charity we run local services supporting young people through serious life challenges. We also campaign for changes, informed by the voice of young people and commission research including the annual Good Childhood Report.
We work with young people who have suffered years of abuse, who have run away from home or are struggling with mental health issues. We look out for young carers and those who are at risk of being groomed by criminal groups. We help refugees who have no one else to turn to in this country.
In Essex, we have a range of services supporting young people and their families, you can read more here: The Children's Society East | The Children's Society (childrenssociety.org.uk)
By taking part in the Supper Club, you’ll be empowering hope for young people who need our support in their darkest times.
For any queries including setting up a JustGiving fundraising page, or if you would like to collect in donations using contactless technology, please contact regional Relationship Manager Hannah on hannah.ratcliffe@childrenssociety.org.uk who can support with this.
